   Dear Nazim

   First of thanks for visiting my blog and sharing your views, regarding this post tell me why it’s compulsory? Its good that women are wearing I don’t have problem with that, but why it should be compulsory on first place? We are secular country and we don’t need any thing compulsory in terms of religion and faith. Whether it a Hindu or Muslims.

   My dear brother,

   The question “Why is it compulsory?” is not applicable here. They are not forcing Hijab on each and every Non-Muslim women in India. It is a rule of an organization. They make it clear in their job postings, that even Non-Muslim staff have to wear Hijab while in school.

   So those who don’t want to wear the Hijab need not apply. They are giving you a clear choice.

   This school has clearly shown its secular values by removing the barrier of religion for deserving talent. But they just have one rule. That is fine, I think and what does it has to do with secularism.

   PS: Dear Brother, when you said “Do you think if”, I feel that you were about to say something and decided not to say to. I am sure that you were thinking that it may hurt my feelings.

   Let me tell you one thing brother, you are most welcomed to say anything, even criticize Islam. I love it when some one criticizes Isam, as it gives me a chance to clear their doubts about Islam. I once again say, you are welcomed to say anything until and unless you are not looking to pick a fight and poke fun at Islam and/or Muslims.

   I sometimes receive emails filled with nasty comment and hatred about Islam. I just ignore them because if you through a stone in shit, the shit is going to fly out and stick to your own clothes. So any such comments will not only be ignored but removed altogether.

   Will it be justified If a school makes a rule that only muslims who believe in Ram or hinduism need to apply as students or staff?

   Will it be justified that a school/college has a rule that muslims cannot get admission?

   Will it be justified if India forms a rule that only hindus can become president or PM just like Pakistan does?

   I mean if we declare in advance about such rules…does that make them more lawful??

   Holland is in the process of passing a law which makes the veil against law.So within a few days wearing a veil will be penalised.Britian ministers are also against veils.They have been also supported by the British media n public.

   Dear Abhishek,

   About you point number 1 and 2, I do not feel there is any problem with that, as long as they are not forced on you. Don’t we have minority colleges in India, where only people from a particular minority community get admissions. I think that will be fine.

   But your second point is totally unrelated. It is about a secularism. Any secular country cannot make that law. Yes, if India decides not to be a secular country, then what is the problem. We have to abide by law. In that case accept it or leave it. Same is the case with Pak, non-muslims of Pak can either accept it or leave it.

   Now as far as, you comment about Holland making it against law to wear the veil, my answer does not change. Muslims there either have to accept it, fight against it or leave it.

   BTW, the concept of veil in Islam is same as the dress worn by Christian Nuns, so does that mean they are banning nuns as well.
   I have not read the article you provided me. So please enlighten me. Hmmmmmm.

   I really donot understand how can such a rule be justified .In such a scenario many nations can actually exploit the minority.What will happen if Islamic studies r made compulsary subject in Pakistan citing the rule that they r an Islamic country?Do u mean to say that Non-Muslims there either have to accept it, fight against it or leave it.???Come on..should anybody discriminate minority just by declaring itself a religious state??

   However since u belive it is right then u must be also justifying the destruction of bamiyan buddhas by Taliban stating that “It is an Islamic country…so they have the right to destroy the idols”..And u must also be against muslims who protested when a newspaper of demnmark published the cartoons of Muhammad and the muslims went on rampage.After all..it is their country n they have the right to do anything they want inside their country..isn’t it??

   PS-Contrary to popular perception..India was not born secular.It added the word “SECULAR” in its constitution in 1977,30 years after independence.But still we had 3 Muslim presidents before 1977.Discriminatory lawas have no place, no matter it is a religious state or secular state.

   You seem to be confused by my comment. Read it again.

   I said it will not be OK if such rules are applicable nationwide and sanctioned by government. But it is fine for an organizations to have such rules. No country can force Islamic studies on non-muslims, not even Saudi Arabia.

   No I never said that, Taliban was justified in destroying the statues, since sentiments of millions were connected with it. Even Quran makes it compulsory for us to respect others religion.
   Effects of sdstruction of stutues was not limited to their own country.

   I would like to correct you, it was not Denmark, but a Danish newspaper who published those filthy things.

   You can do whatever you want in your own country, as long as its effect is limited to your own country. Once it spreads it is no longer an internal affair.

   Whether, born or not, India is a secular nation.

    Dear Nazim,

    No as I said in my next comment also there should not be “dont you think if”. It was first line of other comment for different blog. Second Nazim I don’t write hate email or spread hatred. I respect each individual and respect their faith and religion. I don’t say anything against any religion. For me religion should be personal matter. Some people believe in God some don’t believe it. We don’t have any right to say anything to people who believe it or people who don’t believe. We live in democratic world so it should be personal choice. I don’t support RSS Shiv Sena or neither have I supported any Islamic religious organization. For me religion is personal matter unless some one tries to force their believe and religion on me. About “veil” I don’t have any thing against about it; every woman got every right to choose what they want to wear what they don’t want to wear. But if you ask me in terms of communication I would say yeah I do find it difficult in communication if a woman is wearing “veil” sitting infornt of me and I am talking to her. I had met loads of Muslims women from all over world but to be honest I can say I am bit lucky that none of mine Muslims friends wear “veil”.

    People who say that “Veil” should be weared as when Man sees women with out full cover might get aroused, its rubbish. And same line came from women too. I was shocked when I hear this statement from women sitting next to me in my flight form London to Muscut last year. So I told her if Muslims men feel so sexually aroused by revealing female attire that they become violent, perhaps it is who should be obliged to wear blindfolds. Because I don’t its a duty of women to cover every inch of their skin just to protect her from some idiots. It a responsibility of men not to commit crime.

    Now for you logic about Man wearing a blindfold when he sees a women. Lets take a scenario. Suppose you are have withdrawn a huge amount money from a bank. Would take it out openly showing everyone that you are carrying a huge cash and and say that it is not you duty to hide the cash and it is the duty of other people to blindfold themselves and not see the cash.

    And the term is not Veil, it is Hijab. There is not a single verse in Quran or Sahih Hadith that say covering of face is compulsory. Hands, feet and face of a women can be open.

    And for you knowledge Quran asks men to blindfold themselves. Before the Hijab for women Islam talks about the Hijab for men. Quran ask men to lower their gaze when ever the see a women before any brazen thoughts come to his mind. I hope you are satisfied now. It is responsibility of men not to commit crime and it is responsibility of women help in preventing crime by removing the factors that lead crime against women. By the way do you know which is the country with least number of crimes related of sex and women.

    If Pakistan has done so, it is outright wrong. It should be optional and not compulsory. According to Quran, there is no compulsion in religion.

Tell did they run election with Manmohan Singh in front. NO!. Come back to me with this question when some party of India, has a Muslim in front as a contender for the seat of PM.

    Talk sense mate, money is materialstic things and women is living thing with full human right and all funda mental right. Money is non living thing and women is living thing. Second I sadi that its men should be blindfold becuase you cant say to victim that its your fault. Victim is always victim. Tak ea cas eof Pakistan atleast more 60% women wear hijab, but still Pakistan got one of biggest rape rates in South Asia do you know that? Wear or not wear is not going to make differance. You cant gurantee for anything. If women wants to wear that fair no problme with that, but saying they wear for this particular reason is rubbish. Look out Sudan, Somalia, Pakistan i can give many Islamic countries where rape is hightest in their reigion.

    My dear brother,

    Point number 1. Men do not force it on women. It is Quran that makes Hijab compulsory for women and it is Quran that directs men to tell their women to cover up or take leave.

    Same right is given to women as well. She has the right to divorce a men if she finds that he is not on following commandment of Quran, to lower his gaze when ever he sees a women.

    You say Pakistan has highest rate of Rape in Asia, Did you know that in America, so called torch bearers of womens liberation, have the higest rate of rapes in the world. Anyway, Pak is not a 100% Sharia compliant state.

    Saudi Arabia, 100% Sharia compliant state, has lowest rate of crime against women in the world. Can you tell me what is the difference.

    My dear brother,

    Hijab is not any kind of slavery of torture to women. Hijab is the way to give dignity back to the women. Hijab protects women from evil eyes. Hijab is the most graceful dress that women can have.

    The western society claiming to uplift the women has actually degraded her to a status of concubines and mistresses in the cover of art, culture and liberation.

    Islam is the fatest growing religion in the world. Had Hijab been such a bad thing for women, then why how come more than 65% reverting to Islam are women. Why would they want to be subjugated. Best example in India is world renowned novelist genius Kamala Das.

    You want to sell and degrade, your sisters in the name liberation, fine, Thats your problem. We muslims do not want to sell our sisters. They are fine under the Hijab which has the Grace of Allah in it. Please, do not try to be the Messiah of Muslim women.

    Do yourself a favour, try to check out how many muslim women arround you actually say that Hijab(Islam) subjugates them.

    Even if i buy your arguement that Sonia Gandhi is the front runner of India politics bcos of her surname GANDHI rather than religious affilations….still one question remains

    The congressmen n the people of India unanimously voted for congress in the previous general elections knowing very well that the leader of the party running for elections is a CHRISTIAN.If u remeber BJP n Allies were rumoured to win with thier SHINING INDIA campagign…but still Indian public showed to the world that it cared less for the congress leader’s religious affiliations…..

    Why she was pursuaded to join politics, when she had resolved that she will never join politics. Do you mean to say th congress had in mind that if they put up a christian candidate in front they will win. NO, Not At All! you are ill informed. The brought her to chash in on Ghandhi legacy.
    Congress won the election not because of same reason. Indian Masses still remember the work of Ghandhi family. They voted for Sonia only because she share that legacy and in hopes that she will be something like her family members especially like Rajiv(I am a great admirer of the simplicity and sincerity of this man) and Mrs. Indra Ghandhi. And I must say she has not disappointed the nation.
    Moreover, it is your wrong belief that it was hindus who voted for her unanimously. Hindu vote is India is highly divided. She had the major vote of almost minority communities in india including muslims, christians and other similar communities. This is because, unlike Hindus, minority vote is rearly divided . That is why all parties are always looking for minority vote banks.

    Absolutely right!!!!She won bcos of GANDHI family legacy.That is exactly what I wrote in my previous post as well.But that also means that people gave her vote based on Gandhi Legacy….and didnot rule her out just bcos she is a Christian!!
    Further barring a few politicins in Congress…again a most of the congressmen have no problem in accepting her as their unanimous leader.I agree that it is bcos of GANDHI SURNAME..but indirectly it also means that they pay more attention to GANDHI SURNAME than religious affiliation of the leader.

    Hindu vote in India is divided…but this general election , congress was the first largest single political party on the basis of seats earned.Doesnot that mean that out of 84% of Hindus a considerable part voted for Congress??U dont expect Congress to win just by 15-16% of minority votes only!!!

    before conquering makka,(may peace be upon him )never destroyed any idols. but afer conquering makkah,he entered it and started destrotying all the idols. based upon that muslims scholars reached to this conclusion:
    if muslims are in minority its forbidden to do so.
    but if they are in majority they’ll have to make Allah’s law prevail.
    so in a islamic country,its obligatory to obey the order ot our prophet which he gave to Ali r.a;’I was told to destroy statues …”which you must know.
    so what you said about it was not right for the talibans to destroy the idols is a big error since muslims are in majority there.
    if you were mistaken about it,ok.if u said such things while knowing this,then thats not gud and may ALLAH forgives you.coz no need to feel complexed,SAY THE TRUTH AS IT Is.

    i agree wiz her abt sonia ghandi etc,coz if we say repression from muslims,its exactly the same from us towards sonia ghandi!
    witty n she seems to have a strong personality,maybe will have to revise my perceptions on women who wears burqa.

    Thanks sister, these words. I am not aware of what you are referring to(still I will do some more research). But my point is that if I destroy idols of other religions then how can I condemn demolition of a masjid. And Quran orders us clearly not revile other religions as they may revile Allah and his Prophet (may peace and blesings of Allah be upon him). What I think is good, if there are some idols do damage them but prevent it from spreading further. Islam has clear cut rules not allowing preaching other religion in an Islamic state, though non muslims are free to practice their religions but not preach.

    Case of Makkah and Madina is different. It is like the cantonment area of Islam. There is no scope for kufr there. Anyone who denies “LaIllaha Illallah, Muhammadur Rasoolullah” can not be allowed there. Period.

    WELL SAID!if ur living in a country ruled by their religious laws,then we’ll have to agree”not to let any masjid spread any further”.
    for e.g,in my country its very common to see statues on public beaches.and this is tolerated by the gov.even if we’re supposed to be in a democratic country.
    but when we muslims decided to constuct a little masjid on a beach………………..
    the govn and hindus vehemently voiced against it as”it will not be good for the view,harmony,etc of the beach!”
    so multiple statues erected anywhere r not eye sores(lemons,broken coconuts,camphors,flowers etc always found at the statues r blisses for the eyes!)
    Finally we had to give up our project.
    so wat do you think ot that?
    its clear that due to the fact we’re minority we have to accept such racism,double standard.though we’re not living in a”democratic country” its clear that its “la loi du plus fort”(rule of the more powerful).as hindus are majority.
    in some places where there are very little muslims,we’re not allowed to give adhaan loudly coz it causes”noise pollution”.
    but in places where there are more muslims than hindus,we never objects when the priests use hi tech sono to recite bajaan,sometimes all day long!
    but despits this,its ALWAYS MUSLIMS WHO ARE REGARDED AS EXTREMISTS!

    Dear mir bhai after all it is great to see that non muslim to fight 4 our sister n payin attn on our deen dis ppl dont hav n full proof thng in their religion tat’s why they r here my answer to such ppl u better convert n reform so in part we will eradicate sati devdasi d thing which is present in their scripture n still in india this ppl present positive thing in negativ light see this kind of ppl where present during prophets life time der4 it is stated in quraan summoon bookmoon fahoom la yarjaoon i want to thank u non muslim for pinpointing each issue so that more ppl will come their concept will be cleared n inshallah they wil accept islam
